Getting Healthy from the Inside Out

Seared Ahi Tuna

Ahi Tuna can sometimes be intimidating to cook as it’s so rare, however, waiting until you go to a fancy restaurant to order it is a shame! Much more inexpensive to buy than ordering and super easy to cook, this is one of my favorite meals! Sometimes difficult to find in the grocery store, it’s usually best to ask as they will typically know when they’re expecting a shipment to be delivered.

  • Ahi Tuna (2″X3″ steak per person)
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 2 Tbsp Flax Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil

Heat oil in non-stick pan. Place sesame and flax seeds in bowl or on small plate and gently press ahi steaks into seeds to coat both sides.

Place on heated pan and cook 2-3 minutes per side. Will still be pink in the center.

Serve with quinoa or brown rice and vegetables of choice.
